Support. Clarity. Peace of Mind.

My strong drive to coach families with teens and young adults with Asperger’s Syndrome and/or Learning Differences stems back from my experience working in the Special Education field for over 20 years and most recently for 6 years as the head student advisor at a residential transition program for young adults with Asperger’s and other learning differences.

Time and time again, I hear the same messages. Parents tell me:

“I just want my children to be healthy, happy and be able to live independently.”
“I worry about what will happen when we’re not here anymore.”
“What should I be doing to help them be more independent?”
“If my son/daughter is so smart, why can’t they succeed in college?”

I witnessed firsthand the challenges that families faced once their adult children were back home. Parents felt alone and didn’t know where to turn to get the answers and support they were looking for. I am here for your family and my mission is to help you discover what your family is truly capable of when you are given the support, awareness and tools to work towards a positive future.

“Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive about what could go right.”- Zig Zigler

A little about me…. I was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. I moved to Florida with my family in 2001. I have been married for 26 years to my wonderful husband, David. He has supported my passion for coaching and is my best cheerleader and supporter.

We have 2 beautiful adult sons that are still in college and they have taught me so much about letting go, boundaries and respect. We also have 2 dogs, Chewy and Scruffy (pictured above). Scruffy is in the process of becoming certified as a therapy dog and I am looking forward to many wonderful therapeutic visits with him in the community.

There is no one size fits all in parenting.
